I joined an ADVENTURE CLUB at a new church I had joined, back in 1996. The club was lead by two women who worked with a camp for troubled teens. It was wonderful to go on two adventures, allowing us to GROW and EMPOWER ourselves; as well as learn TRUST!
We went to Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Pennsylvania.
We all stood in a circle and stated an animal name we had chosen to identify with. I chose HELEN HAWK.
On another outing, someone else in the group gave us our name. On that outing, a TRUSTED Adventure Club member gave me the name: HELEN HIGH FLYER!
It is now November 2014, and I am GRATEFUL and THANKFUL on this THANKSGIVING DAY. I have grown, and been empowered to find my speaking as well as singing voice due to trusted friends and guides. When I first spoke in front of the congregation, a fellow church member named me: HAPPENIN’ HELEN!
When I started to participate in church plays and musicals, I became HOLLYWOOD HELEN!
When I let go of old stuff, I talked about going from HELL-IN to H.E.L.E.N. incorporated. (Healthy, Empowered, Loving/Living, Energetic, New)
As I continued to grow, I took on the name HEALING or HEALTHY HELEN!
As I continue to grow and evolve, I am HOLOMETOBOLIC HELEN – constantly morphing, like a caterpillar to a butterfly into growth opportunities.
When I stood in the back yard of a country home I owned, at one point; my cat was standing 3 feet from me in the yard. Suddenly, I LET OUT AN EXCLAMATION as I saw a huge figure come flying off my left shoulder. Because I made a loud noise, THE HAWK flew directly next to me, and then back UPWARD – instead of taking my cat as its meal! I had only gone outside a minute before. The amazing synchronicity of the timing. Leaves one in AWE and GRATITUDE!
This evening, I was leaving a DENNY’s restaurant, arriving at the driver’s side door to my car in the parking lot. I, once again, let out an: OH MY GOODNESS! exclamation!
A HUGE MALE HAWK flew just next to and slightly above my head, to the left! IT HAD SUCH A BROAD WING SPAN! I must have come towards its downward flight path as it swooped down and headed across the road to perch atop a power pole.
I drove my car across the road, and into a parking lot space to SIT IN AWE OF THIS AMAZING HAWK that had chosen to SYNCHRONISTICALLY CROSS MY PATH, ONCE AGAIN!
I make ‘smile sticks with mini mirrors on them’ that note: *SMILE! YOU’RE GREAT! The other day, I ACCIDENTALLY wrote on one: SMILE! YOU ARE STRENGTH! I now keep it on my desk. The HAWK is a STRONG BIRD with FOCUSED VISION when flying high above the Earth.
I talk about THE VISION OF THE HAWK when I explain my OUTLOOK SHIFT ENGINEERING – looking at life from MANY VIEWS – from a PHRESH OUTLOOK!
I am BLESSED and AMAZED at the opportunity to have been SO CLOSE to this AMAZING BIRD’s POWER, ENERGY, STRENGTH and VISION!
I AM: HELEN HAWK, HELEN HIGHFLYER, HOLOMETOBOLIC HELEN … moving forward with a PHresh Outlook, and FOCUSED VISION and STRENGTH!
